
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As part of their meeting on Monday, the USD 308 Board of Education will be asked to approve Design Construction Services (DCS) for $467,602.00 to replace rooftop units at Allen Magnet School and upgrade controls that operate these units.
These units were installed during the mid-90’s refurbishing bond issue when the district added air conditioning, and are beyond their life expectancy. The Board will also be asked to approve work from Zenor Electric Co for $21,186.00. This pricing will disconnect the rooftop units and relocate/ reconnect electrical to new units, and replace GFI, outlet boxes, and GFI weatherproof covers.
Zenor Electric has the school district contract for Project Electrical Work.
The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education meets at 6 p.m. Monday at the Administration Center at 1520 North Plum.
