Ruby also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, and card games such as Skip-Bo and Phase 10. She loved flowers, gardens, and enjoyed a good garage sale, always searching for the best deal! Even though Ruby did not like to cook, she was great at it.

Stapleton of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by: husband, William Chronister; daughter, Susie Vollnogel; great-grandson, Andrew Vollnogel Jr.; six brothers; and two sisters.

Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Friends may sign her book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
