
HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Arconic Corporation will try to keep the forward momentum going when it releases its second quarter earnings before the bell Tuesday.
The aluminum parts company was sacked in 2020 by the pandemic and the production shutdown of the Boeing 737 Max airliner.
According to analysts, Arconic is expected to report earnings per share of $0.47 compared with a loss of $0.84 per share in 2020.
Arconic saw a rebound from 2020 in the first quarter when it reported total sales of $1.7 billion, an increase of 4% from the previous year and 15% from the previous quarter. It also saw net income increase by $0.04 per share at $52 million.
Arconic operates an aluminum finishing plant in Hutchinson, mostly supporting the aerospace industry.
