Man and woman accused of violent robbery in central Kansas

BARTON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspect for an alleged violent robbery in Great Bend.

Just before 9 p.m., January 23, police were dispatched to report of a robbery in the 900 block of Jefferson in Great Bend, according to a mdeid release.

Upon officers' arrival, the victim reported that Juan Prieto, 31, and Trinity Galliart, 30, had used physical force and stole money from him. The victim also reported that Prieto and Galliart had left the scene in a white truck.

A short time later, officers located the suspect vehicle as well as both suspects at a residence in the 2400 block of Cheyenne Drive in Great Bend.. As a result of the investigation, both Prieto and Galliart were arrested on requested charges of Robbery, and were transported to the Barton County Jail.
