Darrell David Dahl (Dave Dahl), 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Karen Dahl of Howard Kansas; sister Judy Sherman of Tacoma, Washington; son Darin and Julie Dahl of Towanda, Kansas; son Tim Dahl and Emma Tull of Valley Center, Kansas; daughter Amy and Shane Milligan of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter Beth Jolly of Maize, Kansas; 6 grandkids and many great grandkids; numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Geraldine Dahl; brother Phil Dahl; sister Gwen Dahl; infant son Brian Dahl; son Mike Dahl; and grandson Chase Stuckey.
Dave worked and raised his children in Valley Center, Kansas. He went on to retire to Howard, Kansas where he became a beloved substitute teacher and town handyman. When he wasn’t working, he loved to be in the great outdoors. Some of his favorite activities were hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was an active member in his church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a master of cooking breakfast and a lover of ice cream. He was known for his integrity and for his ability to fix just about anything.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday September 21st, 2023 at Hillside Cemetery, W. 125th N., Sedgwick, KS 67135.
