HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Those wanting to see the new improvements to the Hall of Space Museum at the Cosmosphere will have to wait. The Cosmosphere announced it will close effective Tuesday morning with plans to reopen Wednesday, April 1.
The museum says it will reopen and be ready to share the new CosmoKids area and X-Plane gallery with all its visitors. The new exhibits were part of a major renovation to the museum entryway that was just completed last week.
The Cosmosphere will offer several at-home activities on its website as well as a virtual tour of the museum.
