HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Child Care Task Force is holding a special event on Thursday, May 11, 2023 to unveil the Retention Grants program for local child care providers, funded through Reno County and City of Hutchinson ARPA funding.
In addition to celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week and Provider Appreciation Day, the task force wants to express gratitude for the unwavering dedication to the children of Reno County that child care providers have and provide those businesses with essential information on how to apply for these valuable funds to support the continuing health of each business.
The event is free from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. May 11 at Stringer Fine Arts Center at Hutchinson Community College.
There will be dinner provided at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7:00 p.m., where they will go over the Retention Grants application process and update providers on the Task Force's latest initiatives for child care in Reno County.
