
INMAN, Kan. — The Inman USD 448 Board of Education is bringing in two candidates for interviews this week for its superintendent vacancy.
The district is partnering with the Kansas Association of School Boards as the board searches for the district’s next superintendent.
Current leader Scott Friesen will retire on June 30, 2023.
The public receptions for the candidates are from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The first candidate in Stephen Jowers.
The public met with Jowers on Tuesday.
Wednesday's candidate is Jeff Sells.
The district plans to make a hire in February 2023, with the new person's contract to start July 1, 2023.
