HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Trinity United Methodist Church will once again host the Taste of Hutchinson, The Men Cook. This year’s event is set for Jan. 25 at the Hutchinson Art Center.
The event raises funds for Salthawk Community Support. Salthawk Community Support is a ministry of Hutchinson Trinity United Methodist Church and provides necessities for students in need of things like clothing, shoes, lunch funds and transportation.
Last year, 25 men provided their best recipes for guests to sample. More than $5,300 was raised for SCS. This year, the event will be divided into three categories: appetizer, main course dishes and dessert. Guests will be able to sample all of the dishes and then vote for their favorite dish. The event is still in need of cooks.
