Evelyn Mae Schmidt passed away March 31, 2023 at Bethesda Home in Goessel. 

 She was born March 13, 1942 in Goessel to William and Helena Penner) Schmidt. 

 Survivors include: son Douglin M. Schmidt of Mission, Kansas; brother, Dennis (Jan) Schmidt of Goessel. 

 Celebration of Life Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Tabor Mennonite Church rural Newton.
