Lawrence E. Howland, 79, of Valley Center, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Born in Wichita, Kansas to Donald and Mary (Rohrig) Howland. After graduation he served and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded by his parents, his sisters Mary Ann Rohrig and Joan Wentling.
He is survived by his wife Clarinda Howland, children Wade (Dayna) Howland, Sandra (Craig) Mills, Laura Jean (Rob) Takacs, Crystal Blanton, Melanie (Darren) Beckham, 13 grandchildren, brothers Ted (Barbara) Howland and step brother Jim (Sue) Rohrig.

Visitation 5 - 7 p.m., Monday, January 29, and Service 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, both held at First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center, Kansas. Graveside following at the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
