JOHNSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Johnson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Chevy Suburban driven by Angela M. Carter, 52, Olathe, was northbound on Interstate 35 northbound ramp to 75th Street. The SUV traveled off the road the left and struck a guardrail. The vehicle1 continued across the 75th street intersection, struck several raised medians and came to rest in the ditch on the northeast side fo the intersection.
Carter was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported the Johnson County Medical Examiner's office. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
