Grounds Technician, Full-Time
Salary: $13.00 – $15.60 per hour

The ideal candidate for this position would not only have a love for the outdoors, but also be able to work in hot or cold weather conditions, maintain a high quality of workmanship, and have a strong ability to work with a team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with maintenance of flower beds.
Help prune shrubs and trim trees.
Assist with snow and ice removal.
Operate lawn equipment.
May assist the maintenance department with projects.
Participate in “on call” rotation.
Respond to requests to work irregular hours and overtime for snow removal and other emergencies.
Qualifications:
Current Kansas driver’s license.
Previous grounds experience preferred.
Knowledge of landscaping, mowing equipment, fertilizers, chemicals is helpful.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to collaborate with a team is required.
Physical Demands:
Lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Able to lift, load, and move large objects with or without accommodation.
Must be able to tolerate all weather conditions.
Must be able to walk long distances, bend, kneel and climb a ladder.
