Angelia Rene Delgado, 55, of Hutchinson, died October 29, 2024, at Disability Supports of the Great Plains. She was born August 23, 1969, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Manuel and Rose (Rocha) Delgado.
Angelia loved to be active with roller skating and dancing. She stood strong in her faith and her love for Jesus was immeasurable. Angelia was well known for her knock-knock jokes and enjoyed making other people laugh. She liked the outdoors as well as an occasional weekend of camping. Angelia had a knack for coloring and created masterpieces for everyone she encountered. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her feline friends.
Angelia is survived by: her mother, Rose Delgado of Hutchinson; brother, Thomas (Letty) Delgado of Dallas, TX; and sisters, Theresa (Gilbert) Sotomayor of Hutchinson, Carol (Andrew) Vieyra of Garland, TX, Christine (Darin) Blea of South Hutchinson; eight nephews; two nieces; nine great-nephews; and 10 great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Delgado.
Parish Rosary will be 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024 both at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th Ave. Hutchinson, with Father Jerome Spexarth officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. with the family present at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Faith and Light at St. Teresa Catholic Church or Disability Supports of the Great Plains, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
