HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Buhler boys and girls bowling coach Skip Willson has been named the 4-1A bowling coach of the year by the Kansas High School Bowling Association.

Wilson has been the coach at Buhler for 10 years and this is the 4th time he's been honored as coach of the year.

Wilson won girls state titles at Buhler in 2012 and 2019.  In Kansas, classes 5-1A compete together, or Buhler would have many more titles as a stand alone 4A school.

Skip also won a national championship as a player with Wichita State in 1980, the first national championship of 12 for the Shocker men's bowling team.
