
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three Red Ravens scored 20 or more points in a game that featured 20 tied scores and 18 lead changes.
Hutchinson (8-5, 2-5) slipped for the fourth straight game and for the fifth time in the last six contests.
Aaron Franklin led the way with 24 points, eight rebounds and four steals as four other Dragons scored in double digits: Steele Gaston-Chapman (14), Kieran Carr (13), Tony Green (12) and Kernan Bundy (11).
Hutchinson put up 81 shots (24 more than Coffeyville), but the Dragons made good on just 37%.
The Dragons made 14 triples, but on 50 attempts (28%).
Meanwhile, No. 11 Coffeyville shot 63.2% overall and racked up 52 paint points and 18 points on the fast break.
Javarzia Belton scored 23 points and nabbed 13 rebounds, while Jordan Wildy led all scorers with 25. Nathan Johnson scored 20 points but had seven of his team's 22 turnovers.
Outside of Belton (5-12), Coffeyville was strong at the line, making 22 of 25. Free throws in the final minute iced the Red Raven victory.
