HUTCHINSON, Kan. — George McCreary from the Kansas Attorney General’s office will be the guest speaker Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. in the HutchCC Student Union basement. He will discuss SCAMS and what to do about them. These SCAMS include:
Romance Scams
Grandkid Scams
Charity Fraud
Health Care Scams
Imposter Scams
Investment Scams
Money Mule Scams
Tech Support Scams
Gift Cards
There will be materials on each of these subjects for you to take home.
There are also instructions on what to do about them, and who to call to report your scam information. After the presentation, there will be question and answer time. Bring a friend, and your questions and concerns for Mr. McCreary.
