HUTCHINSON, Kan. — John Eberly with the Hutchinson Art Center notes that there are two exhibits going on at the center between now and Dec. 23. Some local artists will be featured for the next few weeks from TECH.
"We are bringing a wonderful exhibit from the TECH Client Art," Eberly said. "It will be on display from Nov. 20 to Dec. 23. That will be featured in our front gallery."
Also, a group from Wichita will have its work up after Thanksgiving.
"We're really excited," Eberly said. "We've got the Tallgrass Prairie Printmakers coming from Wichita. That's a group of hand-pulled prints and lithographs, linoleum cuts, wood relief prints, monoprints and more. They are based out of Mark Arts in Wichita and we're really excited to have those guys coming in."
The opening reception for the Tallgrass Prairie Printmakers exhibition will be held on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hutchinson Art Center. Admission to the reception is free.
