CANTON, Kan. — Enjoy the McPherson County Fair happening now until July 16. This year’s theme is “75 Years of Fun in the Sun.”
Since 1948, the McPherson County Fair has been a fun family tradition for the residents of McPherson County and surrounding area. Each year offers tried and true exhibits, events, and activities with a spattering of fun and exciting new things to try and experience.
In addition to 4-H, FFA, and open class exhibits, there are events including rodeos, a pedal tractor pull, concerts, demolition derby, and more.
The fairgrounds host many events and associations throughout the year including cattle shows, barrel races, Central Kansas Youth Rodeo Association, and Kansas High School and Junior High School Rodeo Association.
