Mary Jane Janzen, 83, died June 7, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1941, in Lucas, KS, to Paul and Wilma Dean (Girton) Brozek.
Mary graduated from Lucas High School and attended Salt City Business College for two years. She worked for Consolidated Manufacturing and Western Foods in Hutchinson.
Along with her passion for bowling, Mary enjoyed gardening, shopping, and cherished her family deeply. Her dedication to remembering birthdays and anniversaries ensured her loved ones felt special and speaks volumes about her caring nature.
On April 14, 1979, she married Levi D. Janzen in Hutchinson. They shared over 38 years of marriage, prior to his death on January 6, 2018.
Mary is survived by: her children, Aldon (Alma) Isenberg, Steve (Norma Jane) Isenberg, Marlo (Doug) Janzen, Michelle (Dale) Bird; siblings, Aldon (Fredda) Brozek, Zina (Lonnie) Hayden, Bob (Janice) Brozek; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Levi Janzen; parents; parents-in-law, Abe and Elizabeth Janzen; son, James Daniel; brother, Emery Brozek; and sister, Erma Jeanne Isenberg.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave. Hutchinson with Pastor Tonya Wenger officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary.
