Planning board to take on two cases Thursday

SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Planning Commission will take on two cases at its meeting on Thursday.

The first is a request by Buhler Unified School District #313 for a conditional use permit to establish a day care center on land zoned R-1 –Rural Residential District. The property is located at 509 E. 56th Avenue.

The second is a request by Central Kansas Gun Club of Reno County, Inc.(Applicant: Nex-Tech Wireless) for a conditional use permit to temporarily place a 150’ tall cell-on-wheels and then construct a permanent 220’ tall telecommunication tower on land zoned AG – Agricultural District. The property is located at 7908 N. Lorraine Street.

The Reno County Planning Commission meets Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Public Works building at 600 Scott Boulevard in South Hutchinson.
