NICKERSON, Kan. — The City of Nickerson said on social media that Nickerson EMS is looking for individuals who desire to help their neighbors and become involved in the community.
No experience is necessary, the city will help you gain the education and experience needed. For the right individuals, Nickerson EMS will pay for a candidate's schooling to become a certified EMT.
Because of the sensitive nature of what they believe to be a “calling”, there is an application process, background check, and interview.
Applications are available by calling the City Office at 620-422-5981.
Applications will close at the end of business, October 13, 2023.
