HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Community Foundation Match Day is your big, bold opportunity to help 38 nonprofits grow their endowments exponentially.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 1 at the Wiley Building in Downtown Hutchinson, or from midnight to 11:59 p.m. online at hutchcf.org, you can create even greater change in Reno County by giving to your favorite local nonprofit endowments!

The more you give in person or online on May 1, the more nonprofits receive from Hutchinson Community Foundation's $100,000 matching pool. The match pool will be divided among organizations in proportion to the total amount raised, and they can earn up to 20 percent of the pool ($20,000) if contributions that day equal 20 percent or more of the total amount raised.

Cash, credit cards and checks made payable to Hutchinson Community Foundation and dated May 1 will be accepted.

After you finish making your donation at the Wiley Building, join in the fun with arts, crafts and placemaking activities and music and food from local eateries. As extra incentive to come to the Wiley, hourly prize grants will be given throughout the day, drawn from the previous hour’s donors contributing in person. Your favorite nonprofits can also earn prize grants if they have the most individual donors.

Can’t make it to the Wiley? No problem. Remember, you can make a donation online from midnight to 11:59 p.m. that day at hutchcf.org.

Donations are tax deductible and can be divided among multiple organizations.
