The federal government has caused a state of disaster emergency for Kansas.

Politicians have mandated that truck drivers can only drive 11 hours, and then they are forced to take 10 hours off.  Furthermore, they have to take a thirty minute break after driving eight hours.

Those stringent rules are causing long lines at the fuel terminals, therefore, causing delivery problems, which are causing fuel shortages.

Kansas Governor Kelly signed a state of disaster emergency proclamation to allow fuel truck delivery drivers more hours to deliver fuel.   One CDL semi driver called the laws ridiculous, and need to be changed because this also conflicts with livestock transporting as well.
