HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Motorists will soon see road work along K-61 Highway between Pleasantview and Arlington. KDOT announced that work crews will replace guardrail, do grading, and repair or extend culverts starting on or around Monday, May 3.
During the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled by a pilot car and flaggers, or traffic signals. Motorists should be prepared to stop for the traffic control and face delays of up to 15 minutes. Although there will be multiple work locations, traffic will be restricted at only one location at a time.
The work is expected to be completed in September.
