HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After a meeting last week where proponents of keeping the half-mile oval at the Kansas State Fairgrounds expressed their frustration that its closure was even on the table, the Kansas State Fair Board will take up the discussion of the proposals for future promotion of the track provided to them at a meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
In a Tuesday update to the agenda, William Nusser, the leader of the Save Our Track group has asked to address the board and that has been added to the agenda.
The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. in the Kansas State Fair Administration Building at 2000 North Poplar in Hutchinson.
