HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A hearing for a Reno County man who wants to withdraw his plea to four counts of sexual exploitation of a child was continued on Friday.
Patrick White recently entered pleas to the four counts as part of a plea agreement. A fifth count was dismissed. White was to make his motion before the courts on Friday, but the hearing has now been pushed back to March 31.
White says he wants to withdraw his plea, citing he was not advised that his conviction meant a lifetime registration as an offender during plea negotiations.
White was arrested after deputies with the Reno County Sheriff's Department issued a search warrant on his home and cell phone.
