HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The TECH Board of Directors is pleased to inform the communities of Reno County that significant progress has been made in our search for a new Chief Executive Officer. The search committee has diligently reviewed numerous candidates and has now narrowed the field to two exceptional individuals. Both candidates have been invited for second interviews and tours of the facilities beginning the third week in July.
We are excited about the potential each candidate brings to the future of TECH and anticipate making a final announcement regarding our new CEO in early August. We appreciate the community’s patience and support during this period of transition.
As we continue to move forward, TECH remains committed to our Mission and the people we serve. Over the past 51 years, TECH has stood as a pillar of support in Reno County, and we will maintain this strength and dedication through the transitional phase.
To ensure a smooth transition, we are pleased to announce that former TECH CEO, Brenda Maxey, will serve as Interim CEO beginning July 30. This will provide an opportunity for her and outgoing CEO, Kevin Hess, to work together and ensure continuity and stability in our operations. Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a strong willingness to assist TECH during this important time.
We thank Kevin Hess for his dedicated service and leadership and are confident in Brenda Maxey’s ability to successfully guide TECH during this period of transition.
