Dianna L. Brown, 72, of Hutchinson, died June 14, 2025, at Hospice House of Reno County. She was born the eldest of four children on October 27, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Gary and Leila (Wiley) Corkins. 

Dianna graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1971. She worked as the Head of Circulation for the Hutchinson Public Library for over 30 years. Dianna enjoyed reading and advocating for her community through charitable work. She volunteered at the Food Bank and United Way of Reno County and was an avid donor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  

Dianna loved to garden and work with flowers. Hydrangeas were her favorite. She enjoyed the great outdoors and would go on bi-annual fishing trips with her husband, Kevin. Dianna liked to travel to many places especially Branson, Missouri and had the joy of experiencing a Florida alligator trip.  

On May 23, 1981, she married Kevin Brown in Hutchinson. They shared 44 years of marriage before her death. 

Dianna is survived by: beloved husband, Kevin Brown of Hutchinson; children, Jason (Candis) Brown of Hutchinson, Stephanie (Nathan) Miller of Wichita, and Jamie (Emily) Brown of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Rick (Jerri) Corkins of Buhler, Jim (Cynthia) Corkins and Cliff (Pam) Corkins both of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Leila Wiley. 

Cremation has taken place. 

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. June 20, 2025, at Fairlawn Burial Park, with Pastor Gary Getting officiating. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
