HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven City Council will look over a new housing incentive program when they meet in regular session this evening.

The council will hold a public hearing on the incentives that the city hopes will spur new growth in the proposed Wildcat Landing addition. The city recently entered into an agreement to purchase a parcel of land from the school district as part of that development.

Also, as brought up at a recent meeting, the council will go over the issue of overgrown vegetation and grass in the street and on sidewalks. The council has been considering an ordinance to deal with the issue.

Finally he council will hear the usual reports and go into executive session to discuss the ongoing legal matter regarding the city pool.

Tonight’s Haven City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Haven city offices at 120 S. Kansas.
