KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals announced on Monday they have designated Jackie Bradley Jr. for assignment and have called up outfielder Dairon Blanco.
Blanco started in left field on Monday night in the Royals loss to the Cincinnati Reds. Blanco went 1-for-4 at the plate in the 5-4 loss.
