SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating the deadly shooting at Reser's Fine Foods, 3167 SE 10th Street in Topeka on Thursday are searching for a suspect.
Police are attempting to locate Eddie Holmes, 65, of Topeka, in reference the shooting death of 39-year-old Reginald D. Previtte, 39, of Topeka, according to Topeka Police Lt. Edward Stanley.
Just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a reported shooting at the plant, according to Police Lt. Ronnie Connell.
First responders found Previtte suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.
