HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas State Fair has a new board member.
Gov. Kelly’s office announced Thursday that John Leslie of Lawrence is the newest member of the board. Leslie will represent the Northeast Kansas Extension District.
That district is currently represented by Ron Hinrichsen.
The purpose of this board is to promote and showcase Kansas agriculture, industry and culture, to create opportunities for commercial activity, and to provide education and entertainment that is part of the Kansas State Fair.
