HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Andrew Gaylor, 7th and 8th grade Physical Education and Strength and Conditioning instructor at Reno Valley Middle School, USD 309, Nickerson- South Hutchinson, was recently awarded a $500 Classroom Grant by the Kansas Association of American Educators (KANAAE), a non-union professional educators’ association serving Kansas educators.  Mr. Gaylor will be using the funds to purchase three barbells that will be used in his strength and conditioning classes.

“KANAAE is thrilled to be able to support educators so they can purchase materials that help provide a variety of educational experiences for their students,” said Garry Sigle, KANAAE executive director.  “As a professional association we are committed to helping educators, through our scholarship and grant program, purchase applicable materials and supplies.  We know it’s the students who ultimately benefit.”
