Merlyn C. “Gus” Noble, 87, passed away March 21, 2025, in Buhler. .
He was a retired welder for Borton, Inc. Merlyn enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and attending auctions. He also found a lot of joy in spending time with his granddaughter and her family including attending his great-grandson’s activities.
Merlyn is survived by: a son; two daughters; three grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 10, 2025, from 6 – 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson KS 67501. Friends may sign his book daily Monday through Saturday 9 – 5 pm and Sunday 1 – 5 pm through April 10, 2025. Private family services will be held. There will be a family gathering to honor Merlyn in South Dakota at a later date.
