Dolly Fay Dunn, 87, passed away March 18, 2023, at Homestead of Augusta Assisted Living, Augusta, KS. She was born March 27, 1935, in Hutchinson, KS, to Fred August Redinger and Alice H. (Wedel) Redinger.
Dolly worked as a licensed practical nurse at various hospitals in the Wichita, KS, and Hutchinson, KS, area. She enjoyed being with her family, especially the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren.
Dolly is survived by: her daughter, Linda (Gary) Spear of Douglass, KS; grandson, Brian (Kelly) Spear and their children, Landan, Lincoln, Lleyton, and Leland; grandson, Jacob (Steffany) Spear and their children, Elkan, Kason, Attalie, Jaben, Everlyse, and Garrin; grandson, Zachary (Kristen) Spear and their children, Lane and Shea; grandson, Jayson (Mariah) Schrader and their children, Avery, Hunter, Levi, Paizlee, and Reagan; and numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Laura Lee Schrader; siblings, Arthur Redinger, Rowland Redinger, Cecil Redinger, and Darlene Unruh; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary, with Chaplain Brian Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family present from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the day of the memorial service at Elliott Mortuary to greet friends. The memorial service will be livestreamed beginning at 10:45 a.m. on the Elliott Mortuary website.
