HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A motion hearing for a Hutchinson man facing first-degree murder charges will be held Friday in Reno County District Court.
The defense for Sandral Wade has filed a motion to have the trial continued. It is scheduled to start March 22.
Wade is accused in the shooting death of Orlando Gipson in April of 2020. He also faces one count of attempted first-degree murder in the shooting of Landre Bowie. Wade was bound over for trial following a preliminary hearing in August of last year.
The defense will present a motion before Judge Trish Rose during the 8:30 court docket.
