JOHNSON COUNTY —A man who admitted his role in the drug deal death of a Kansas woman on February 14, 2023 is going to prison.
Last week, Johnson County Judge Jason Billam sentenced 21-year-old Treger Melique Samuels to 84-months in prison, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office.
Samuels pleaded guilty to charges of distributing drugs causing the death of 20-year-old Ericka Grisby of Olathe. In June of 2025, police booked Samuels into the Johnson County Jail, according to online records.
