HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Aaron Franklin and Aaron Potter powered the Blue Dragons (15-8, 9-8) against the Tigers (13-10, 7-10) with 48 combined points Wednesday night.
The 91-65 win stopped a two-game slide as the Dragons were just 2-3 in their last five matchups.
Franklin notched 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds as "the other Aaron," Aaron Potter, caught fire in the second half and knocked down four-consecutive treys.
Potter finished with a career-high 22 points on 7 of 11 shooting (5 of 8 overall from distance).
Kieran Carr also scored in double digits with 13.
The Dragons erased an early six-point Cowley lead and went into the break with a 45-28 advantage.
Hutchinson scored 22 second-chance points on 16 offensive rebounds.
The Dragons outrebounded the Tigers 46-27.
The Dragon lead bulged to 31 with just over three minutes to play.
Two Tigers, led by Xavier Washington's 15, scored in double figures.
