RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30 p.m. Friday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB Class driven by Clinton F. Pierce, 87, Hutchinson, was northbound on Whiteside Road at U.S. 50.
The SUV pulled into the intersection, where it collided with a 2012 Ford F350 driven by Paul C. Sundby, 53, Hudson, Wisconsin.
After impact the pickup entered the median and rolled onto its top. EMS transported Pierce to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Sundby was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
