NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson City Council gave approval to a cost of living increase for full time city employees during Monday’s meeting. The council approved the 5% increase for the city’s five full time workers.
Also on Monday, the council approved holding a workshop on Monday January 17th to discuss city ordinances and codes. The city has been short one position in the code enforcement office. That issue and an overall look at city codes and enforcement will be the topic of the workshop.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. The public is invited.
