
Robert Alvin “Bob” Albright, 58, of Wichita, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord on November 20, 2023. He was born December 2, 1964, in Hutchinson, to Alvin Lee “Al” and Rose (Boeken) Albright.
Robert graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1983, and attended Kansas State University. He worked alongside his father, Al Albright, for many years at the Design and Carpet Company. Robert most recently worked as a residential and commercial painter, finding peace and solace when working outside on a lift. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating, skiing, riding go-karts, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and K-State football teams. Robert was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson, and raised in a Christian home, giving him a foundation with a strong faith that he shared with others.
Robert is survived by: his mother, Rose Albright of Hutchinson; his life partner, Jessica Sutton of Wichita; daughter, Kassidy Hobbs (Matt) of Pleasant Hill, MO; sister, Jacque McMillan (Tom); and nephew, Gatlin McMillan, all of Stafford.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Lone Star Cemetery, Pretty Prairie, with the Reverend Christine Kass officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The casket will remain closed.
