Clarene H. Stucky, 99, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Reflection Living in Hutchinson. She was born on August 31, 1924 in Harvey County, Kansas, the daughter of Carl G. and Anna (Schrag) Krehbiel.
She graduated from Moundridge High School.
Clarene was a lifelong member of Eden Mennonite Church in Moundridge, and participated in the Dorcas Society.
She was united in marriage to David S. Stucky on October 1, 1948 at the Eden Mennonite Church. Clarene was a devoted homemaker and farmer’s wife.
Clarene is survived by her twin daughters, Carolyn (Brad) Shinkle and Marilyn (Brian) Holdgrafer, both of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kim Probst (Dennis Tomlin) and Brock (Kelli) Shinkle; two great-grandchildren, Erica LaForce and Mitchell Probst; two great-grandchildren, Lila Mae and Violet Wren LaForce; and sisters-in-law, Verna Blaylock of Moundridge and Millie Stucky of McPherson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Verna Stucky and Esther Franz.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2023 at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, December 10 at Moundridge Funeral Home.
