Housekeeper, Full-Time
We’re looking for a housekeeper who will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furnishings in various areas as a “float.” The ideal candidate for this housekeeper position will be able to manage switching tasks without much notice, be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness/sanitation when performing job tasks and have a strong ability to work with a team. Wesley Towers is an EOE.
The hours for this position are M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with rotation on weekends and holidays.
Wage: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour
Responsibilities for Housekeeper:
General cleaning within regulatory compliance.
Maintains clean carts, work areas and equipment.
Cleans public areas, apartments and healthcare resident rooms.
Washes interior windows and vacuums on a rotating schedule.
Handles chemicals as needed for the assignment.
Qualifications for Housekeeper:
Previous cleaning experience helpful.
Must follow all safety precautions and procedures.
Ability to collaborate with a team.
Physical Demands for Housekeeper:
Lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
Must have the ability to team-lift large items.
Walk long distances, bend, kneel and work in small places.
May be exposed to chemicals, unpleasant orders and many different situations.
