
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County commissioners will consider a contract with an engineering firm to do the biennial bridge inspections for the county during Tuesday's agenda session.
The board will consider a contract with Kirkham Michael for a total of $32,882. The engineering firm will do the required KDOT inspections of 401 bridges in the county at a cost of roughly $82 per bridge. Funds for the inspections will come from the special bridge fund.
Also Tuesday, the board will take action on a services agreement with Ranson Financial to handle loan and grant applications with KDHE and USDA for the Yoder and HABIT sewer project, and go over several Public Works purchases for the year.
Tuesday's meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Annex.
