HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire’s own Captain Troy Mueller has been asked to assist with the Rocky Mountain Incident Command Team Three as wildfires continue to kick off and spread throughout the western United States.
Captain Mueller is being mobilized to the Gwen fire in Idaho. The team will also be asked to manage the River fire. Both fires are burning on the Nez Perce Reservation in north central Idaho. Numerous evacuation orders have been given to impacted communities.
Yesterday alone, 110 new fires have started out west. Stay safe!
