HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Earnings for companies with ties to Reno County will begin on Wednesday when Union Pacific releases its numbers.
The nation's largest railroad looks to continue a strong 2023. Earlier this spring, the railroad declared a quarterly dividend of $1.30 per share on the company's common stock, payable June 30, 2023, to shareholders of record May 31, 2023.
Union Pacific has paid dividends on its common stock for 124 consecutive years.
UP operates about 25 trains per day in Reno County, which include intermodal and grain shipments.
