HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A man was arrested and booked into the Reno County Jail on charges related to a 2021 shooting Tuesday night.
According to Hutchinson Police Lt. Dustin Loepp, this was a warrant arrest from a shooting that occurred on December 2, 2021.
A 38-year-old male was contacted near the alley behind 322 E 2nd with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was treated medically and survived.
The suspect fled the state and was taken into custody on unrelated charges in Oklahoma. He had some other legal obligations before he could be brought back to Kansas, so that’s why there was an extended period of time.
Nathan Leon Plum was booked in relation to the case with an initial bond amount of $500,000.
