
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Regional Healthcare Systems announced Friday that Cheryl Gonsalves has been named Director of Foundation and Communications, effective immediately.
Gonsalves joined HRHS in 2018 and was serving as Patient and Family Advisory Council Manager and Civil Rights Advocate for Hutchinson Regional Medical Center at the time of her recent promotion.
Earlier this month, Gonsalves was honored as the employee of the year at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Gonsalves will direct the Hutchinson Regional Medical Foundation and oversee communications for HRHS and its entities.
Gonslaves grew up in Halstead and attended Hutchinson Community College before graduating from Emporia State University with a degree in Strategic Communications. Prior to joining HRHS, Gonsalves worked for several area businesses along with serving an internship at Walt Disney World. Also, she spent two years as a volunteer in South Africa.
Gonsalves and her husband Jeremy are the parents of four children.
