Two injured in Tuesday morning wreck

RENO COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident at US 50 and Mohawk Road in Reno County Tuesday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol's report, a 1995 Frieght truck tractor was northbound on Mohawk crossing US 50 when a 1990 Oldsmobile struck the truck tractor in the trailer. Then a 2005 Ford F150 struck the tractor in the trailer, as well. 

The tractor driver, 69-year-old Dean William Melton of Langdon was not hurt. The driver of the Olds, 27-year-old Michael Lee Gould, was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. The driver of the F150, 20-year-old Natalie Lynette Galliart, was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

All drivers were buckled up, according to the KHP report.
